I'm wondering if I'm tiring of writing this blog. I know some people check in now and then, but I'd like to know whether it's really worth my (and your) while. So, write and tell me if this site is informative enough!
Again, the weekend (and Monday) passed so quickly. I guess it was mainly because I was helping Clarence move the furniture and crap he bought from the guy who sold me the Passat to his storage facility. The guy was going back to Taiwan and sold 3/4 of his things to Clarence for $3,000. What a bargain. The furniture included 3 beds, leather lounges (set of 3), dining table for 6, a large computer table, and lots of odds and ends like a rice cooker, dishes, cutlery, hangers, rugs, etc. etc. And most of these things weren't more than 2-3 years old! Anyway it took us all Saturday with a 1-tonne open-cab truck. We started at 8am and returned the truck at midnight. Talk about physical and mental abuse. There was only the 2 of us doing it. There are times when the boundaries of friendship are stretched, but in this case, if no one helped him, he would be in deep shit because the seller was leaving the country today. I've decided that I don't like moving very much.
Oh, and don't look now, but it's been 9 days since I've touched a golf club! I meant to go to the driving range last night but we got caught up making a big dinner and by the time I cleaned up and put the garbage out, I was spent. I think I'm still suffering the effects of Saturday. There have been so many activities planned last week and this coming week I haven't really had the time to even think golf. Anyhow, Polly's going for a wedding on Saturday so that leaves me most of the morning for Golf... or should I go watch the Australian Open? It starts on Thursday and the likes of Rich Beem and Charles Howell III are here! I guess I should go, seeing as it's going to be one of the few opportunities I'll get to watch the pro's play... I mean REAL pro's.
I still haven't received my passport back from the US Consulate and SingTeck is about to cancel on me. What a bummer.
