Geez, it's just so weird to refer to Polly as my "wife" (It's even more freaking weird calling her parents 'mum and dad'!! All these years they've been aunty and uncle! I better bloody well get used to it) - I was checking up on the delivery of our queen bed *rawr* and the bloody thing's been delayed a week because it was brought to the stainers late. So she still can't move in. Well she can, but we either both (and the dog) squeeze into one single bed or she sleeps on the bunkbed in the guest room. I don't think she'd appreciate that. But thats alright - I get to work on my proper site without getting nagged ;-)

It's confirmed, we're playing at Tirhatuan Lakes tomorrow afternoon - should be a blast, the bonus being I don't have to wake up early!! I hope I hit the ball well... I've been on kind of a roll lately - hitting my irons sweet and putting reasonably well (normally in the back 9)... The only thing I can complain about is my driver. It invariably gets me into the shittiest lies.

Damnit, I need a comments page to see whether people read this site at all!??! Or am I just writing to myself! I hope I can get greymatter going over the weekend, so if you are one of the two people (the other being me) who actually read this site, keep checking in to find out the URL for my new site. I'll probably still keep blogging on this one, and have it linked to the main site.
Go Wizards!! They beat Philly 99-84 without MJ. I know it's only pre-season, but early indications are this is the team to beat in the East! The fact that Kwame was top Wiz scorer with 20pts is promising. And they're signing Oak to the team this weekend. How can we NOT get into the playoffs this season. Who wants to bet against me?
I got a missed call from Erwin last night, so I called him back to find out that he was actually trying to call someone else and got the wrong number. How nice to know. Well, the last time I spoke to him was back in July when I was in Adelaide. For those who don't know, I went to uni with Erwin and we used to hang out quite a bit playing basketball, going to the gym and getting pissed on the beach. Those were the days when there we didn't have worries. Anyways, we had a long chat and kind of updated each other on what was going on with our other friends. Yes, even guys bitch about stuff. One of the main topics was Sing Teck and his marriage plans. I don't want to risk getting my ass kicked for writing what we discussed just in case you read it, Teck. I might take a drive up to Adelaide next month, just to get some mileage under my Passat's belt. He's only been purring round the suburbs the last month or so... he needs a good long run.

It's finally FRIDAY! We normally play basketball on Friday nights but the gym's fully booked tonight, so me and the boys might just go get a meal and and settle down with some beers at the local Tabaret and watch some big screen football reruns. :D Can't wait!

Oh, I also went to have a look at the puppies I mentioned yesterday. The Beagle X was tiny! At 6 weeks, he was 1/2 the size of Tiger. I am actually after something larger, the size of a purebred beagle... The daschund x chihuahua was a joke. He was so small I could've stepped on it and killed it instantly. The search continues...

Noon in the world's most livable city. It's not a bad place, is Melbourne, but can't see what's so special about it. The boss is away till next week so it's pretty loose around the office. I've been doing fuckall this morning except calling around looking for a companion for Tiger - found a Beagle x Australian terrier pup, 6wks, and will look at it tonight. The breeder also had a daschund x chihuahua pup!?! WTF!??!?! I downloaded Waterboy last night on DiVX and watched it again for the 999th time. YOU CAN DO IT! My only complaint is that the video slows down after awhile, the audio is OK. I wonder if it sucks up cache memory? Can anyone out there offer any suggestions!?
I had nasi lemak for dinner tonight. Polly's mum is amazing. The only thing missing was sambal (well, you can't have everything), but she more than made up for it with curry chicken and beef rendang. I had 3 full helpings. And no, I'm not ashamed of myself. It's always a compliment to the chef to want seconds (and thirds!). I guess she felt like she needed to cook something special tonight cos her daughters had just came back from a holiday to China.

A guy called up interested in buying my Nissan Pulsar. The car is now like 12 years old but still drives very well (Polly's two older sisters bought it and then it was handed down to Polly and her youngest sister, and finally me, except I paid $3,000 for it). I can't believe it but I'm reluctant to let it go (despite the fact that there are now 3 cars in our household, including this one). Maybe it's cos I'm asking for too little $3,500. I looked in the Trading post a couple of weeks and private sellers were asking for up to $6,000!!! It looks like I'm being too generous, considering that I did an engine wash and cleaned all the fuel injectors, replaced the clutch, cable and clutch casing ($650) Well, if this guy wants the car, he'll have to get his own roadworthy certificate and do everything necessary to transfer ownership. I ain't lifting a finger for the price I'm offering! I'm bringing it to let him look at it this weekend. Wish me luck!

Well, I'm going to trim Tiger's nails, now that he's half asleep. He won't struggle as much! :)

Now that I'm pretty much settled into life in Melbourne (after a 7 month rollercoaster ride which involved: Leaving a good job and my folks in Malaysia, living temporarily with a cousin I never knew, calling the cops to kick out our tenants who wouldn't pay their rent, moving into my own house, getting a job, getting Tiger (who subsequently contracted parvovirus and had to stay in hospital for a week!), having to part ways with a housemate who also couldn't pay rent, buying a car, and finally getting married after 7 years of courtship), I find that something is still missing .... The question "Why am I doing all this?" begs to be answered.
I let Tiger out this morning to do his usual business, but he decided that he needed a run and sprinted to the empty block next door. That pissed me right off cos I was still in my pyjamas and I really didn't want to be trampling around in the mud and crap trying to catch him. My real fear is that he runs onto the street and gets run over, which is why I never let him out of the confines of the house without a lead. Beagles. Nose to the ground. All the time. They don't even see cars coming. Anyway, after a shit and a pee and a bit of sniffing around, he decided he wanted to run home (thinking I'd chase him). What a relief. I would've trashed the crap out of him, but the dog trainers said not to punish them when they come back, so I had to suck it all back in. (*#@(%*^@(*#&$!!!

On a brighter note, it's going to be fine and 24degs on Saturday. Bring it on! Can't wait to hit the golf course. I'm considering going to the range tonight to get some practice in, and see whether I can beat my score last week.

Polly gets back on Sunday morning, and I have to pick her up from the airport... at 5-fucking-50 am!!!

The new heater rocks! Now I can post in comfort. As you can see I've added some links on the left - I must have espn - NBA starts in a couple of weeks!!! :D I've also got a link to my photo album so go have a look if you wanna see what I look like. But a camboy I'm not.
I'm gonna get off work early today. I've got a gas fitter coming in to install a refurbished heater. Woohoo! Now I can kiss those cold nights goodbye. Pity summer's around the corner... but there will always be those cold nights, even in the middle of summer. We've seen the 4 seasons today. Warm and balmy overnight, absolutely pissed down in the morning, got down below 10, and then the clouds parted for a fine afternoon. I believe it's 15degrees right now. Great stuff. Couldn't pick a better time to bugger off home early. I'm trying to get some guest writers to contribute to this blog but so far people are shying away. WTF? Come on, its not like I can write very teh good... It's all a bit of fun!
I chatted to Meg last night and she did a really nice thing by putting Tiger's picture (below) on her site so I could refer to it. That's the only reason why you are looking at his cute face now. So go take a look at Meg's site. She's Canadian, eh?
F**K I wrote a long post and lost it by clicking on the wrong tab. Hmmmpf. Anyway I'm at work and haven't the slightest intention to do any. But I know I should. Well I will when I hear the boss' footsteps round the corner. The Waverley Helpmates came over to do my lawn this morning. For the uninitiated, this organisation rounds up retarded folk to do manual labour. This fella who came to mow my lawn was a big fella and looked kinda dodgy. He reminded me of the guy who killed off Patch Adam's girlfriend. I hope he doesn't do anything to Polly's car. Even more so I hope Tiger doesn't piss him off by barking his head off. He was creating a racket when the Helpmates arrived. Fingers crossed.

Now I'll try to do some work. Bleaagh.
Shit, it's 1am and I still haven't showered yet. If Polly was here, she'd be nagging me to death. She does mean well, she does. Blogspot doesn't have a link to my email, so if you chanced upon my blog, do write to me at woosyJ@yahoo.com and say 'hi'.
If ya'll haven't read Justin's site, you're missing out on life. Go get your daily dose of porn and meet some awesome people who frequent the site. He da man!

"Time to hit the sack, boss"
Tiger's just gone to sleep on my bed. I wonder what he thinks about before he drifts off to sleep. He's been having these bad dreams which make him shake and shiver all over and breathe funny. Sometimes it looks as though he's having a fit!! I normally wake him and give him a bit of a cuddle. It's fun having a dog.
So there you have it, my own blogger. I've been wanting to do this for a long time, but just never found the inspiration to get started. Well let's see how long this little venture goes on for. It's not every day one gets to share all his thoughts and feelings with the cyber community. I now take the big step into the unknown...
